Parent Consultation

Leading Learners Academy Trust is consulting on a proposal to establish a SEND resource base at Sandbrook Primary from 1st September 2024.

The base would support children who have an Education Health and Care Plan and whose primary need is Autistic Spectrum Condition.  The base would provide places for up to 24 children who would access specialist support within the base and also benefit from integration within a mainstream setting with support.  

The school would have a funding agreement with the Local Authority and this would support an agreed staffing structure.  Staff would be appointed and employed by Sandbrook and LLAT and managed day-to-day by Ms Temple.
